According to Kakao’s Q1 earnings report, transaction volume for self-gifting on the platform during the
Kakao Shopping Festa increased by 53% compared to the same period last year.
Consequently, the beauty industry is enhancing its competitiveness on mobile platforms by
strengthening customized products, personalized services, and
limited-edition packages that reflect individual tastes.

Monclos has introduced its customizable keyring service,
previously operated at its Hannam flagship store, to KakaoTalk Gift.
Upon purchasing a product, customers can receive a personalized keyring by combining four keyring designs with alphabet initials.
